Unrestored and original PT-19
1941
Fairchild PT-19 (M62A) Serial T41-730. Originally N60135, it was
recently reregistered as N462XP |
No doubt the most original aircraft of its kind in
existence, with the 1941 US Army Air Corps placards and numbers
still legible. It is covered with the dust of sixty years, but in
amazing original condition. The small amount of fabric that covers
the fuselage needs replaced, but the wood and metal are in
outstanding condition. The Ranger 6-440-C2 engine is free and would
probably start and run with fresh avgas added. The airplane was only
10 years old when it entered storage, so the total time is probably
very low and it is absolutely complete with every original part
still intact and with the airplane
Complete with all logs
since its release by the Army Air Corps in 1945, we are asking
$25,000.
